TaoADODataSet Component Suite

NOTE: TaoADODataSet has been a wonderful project with many contributions from around the world.  However, due to other projects and my growing family, I can no longer continue active development on the project.  Any contributors that provide code, I will still attempt to do releases with the contributed code.  If you are interested in taking ownership of this Open Source project, please contact me at jswager@alohaoi.com.

TaoADODataSet Component Suite is FREEWARE!  Source is included in the download package and it should compile under Delphi 3, Delphi 4, Delphi 5 (main design compiler), and possible C++ Builder 3.0 and C++ Builder 4.0 (again both untested by myself).  Since the initial release, several people have contributed either testing, code, or new features, so this is no longer just my project.  If you would like to contribute to the project, please feel free to send me the code and I'll distribute it.  TaoADODataSet will remain free and available as an open source project. 

TaoADODataSet components are a nearly full-featured TDataSet descendant for Delphi and C++ Builder. It allows you to link the normal Delphi database components to OLEDB database such as Access, SQL Server, Index Server, and other ODBC data sources, completely bypassing the BDE. ADO can be obtained from Microsoft (for free, too).
